New Business Development Manager

Reporting to the Head of Business Development, this is an excellent opportunity to become a key member of the sales team for a market leading company operating in a rapidly expanding market place. As the New Business Development manager, you will be responsible for managing and significantly developing existing accounts within multiple retailers and opening new accounts in key target businesses.
Based in the North West, but operating nationally and in Ireland you will be tasked with building company turnover, profitability and brand awareness/reputation in High Street Department Stores, Home Furnishing Specialists and other multiple retailers.This will be in accordance with the company strategic objectives to continue growing market share and introducing innovative products.
Who we're looking for
You will have a successful track record in business development in a competitive and challenging market. You will be a motivated self starter with the drive and confidence to overcome opposition and resistance in developing new accounts in national accounts.
You will be able to communicate internally and externally at a variety of levels to influence and cultivate meaningful relationships to progress business opportunities. Due to our wide range of products, you will possess an appreciation of design and colour in a fashion / home fashion industry.
You will be able to demonstrate a track record within the multiple retailer environment with an excellent awareness ofP&L, pricing, margin, costings, promotions and sales.

What's on offer
£40,000 to £50,000 plus bonus, car and benefits.
