The Sales Applications Engineer will be required to liaise with the internal sales & engineering teams in all aspects of the product in order to meet the required specification, you will report directly into the Managing Director. Your main responsibility will be to develop sales through application engineering throughout the Midlands & South Wales.

• You will support the customer & prospective customers in all aspects related to the products both technically & commercially. The Sales Applications Engineer is the main product/ application expert.
• You will be the key technical person in contact with the customer.
• You will be the main link between the customer, technical staff and the engineering/ manufacturing team.

The Sales Applications Engineer is the main person to help answer or resolve application questions and problems internally and externally and will be the link between the customer needs of R&D and the internal R&D team.

This covers:
• Quote preparation.
• Technical presentation at key customers.
• Direct handling of some key customers.

Who we're looking for
A self-starter and not averse to travel, you will be a qualified engineer who has had commercial exposure with a minimum of a HNC or preferably a degree in Engineering. You may come from Applications, Design, Sales or Manufacturing Engineering backgrounds, preferably experienced in industrial manufacturing environments. You will preferably have worked within the engineering and manufacturing industry in the Midlands and South Wales area.
