Opportunity to join a well-established Bristol employment team which offers considerable opportunity for growth in the future. The Lead Partner is a well-known commentator on employment issues in the press and the client base tends to produce interesting and varied issues.
The role will involve day-to-day responsibility for a caseload of non contentious work along with some contentious issues, dealing with complex and challenging issues for a variety of large well-known private sector clients. You will be handling issues relating to corporate transactions, including advising on policies, contracts of employment, employee liabilities, TUPE (outsourcing and in-sourcing) and due diligence. You willattend Employment Tribunal and High Court hearings, liaising with counsel. You will alsotake responsibility for the informal supervision and coaching of othermembers of the team, e.g. acting as a mentor, providing guidance on problem issues, client queries etc.

This team is part of a national network which offers opportunities for networking and business development across the team as well as proactive approach to communication and knowledge sharing.

Who we're looking for
Employment solicitor who has worked within a strong commercial practice and gainedgood exposure to a wide range of non-contentious issues including corporate support work, boardroom matters and corporate governance issues.You will need to be able to operate without constant supervision from a Partner. You should be aconfident communicator with an ability to develop relationships and influence at all levels.
