Business Development Manager

Develop and implement strategic sales action plan to cover designated sectors and levels of partnerships and marketing/sponsorship opportunities.
• Recruit new commercial partners for the sectors or partner levels allocated.
• Develop key promotional tools to increase additional commercial partners.
• Maintain account and contact management database records for the sectors and partners allocated.
• Work with and develop sector relationships with key associations and representative bodies where relevant
• Develop new partner proposal packages to include (where possible) all aspects of the organisation's income - e.g. match funding, on-line, TV and print opportunities
• Undertake Project Manager responsibilities as required for our Brand Partnership work in conjunction with external consultants and internal Visit London team.
• Undertake other reasonable duties as allocated by the line manager.

Who we're looking for
Ideally you should come from a media sales, sponsorship or corporate partnerships background. In addition you should have the following:
• Ability to spot creative commercial opportunities at any level with both existing and potential commercial partners
• Excellent negotiation and contract formulation skills
• Excellent communication skills - verbal & written
• Excellent relationship management skills
• A background in line-management
