Legal Advisor with French language

Our client is looking for a legal advisor to provide practical and commercially aware legal advise in a timely manner on contractual legal issues and provide an effective legal service to assist in the achievement of the Division and the Company's strategic and operational business objectives.
Main tasks:
- Main point of contact for the French and Italian business units
- Provide contract management, advise, negotiation and completion of sales and purchase contracts for the French and Italian business units and the UK division
- provide on going legal advice and life cycle management in relation to existing contracts
- Assist in the preparation of new contract precedents
Research legal issues as necessary
- Ascertain all regulatory requirements which apply to the French and Italian business units and ensure compliance with them
Who we're looking for
You will have experience of drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in both French and English. You will have in-depth knowledge of the French legal system viaprevious experience, or will have a legal qualification in this area. You will demonstrate effective communication skills, both written and oral.
It would be advantageous if you had experience of the satellite industry, or other high tech area. Italian language and knowledge of the Italian legal system would be advantageous but is not essential.
