UK Supply Management Leader

This position manages long and short-term planning, development and implementation of supply management initiatives for all locations within assigned region. This position is responsible for local implementation, management and execution of all purchasing activity in the assigned region to deliver the annual material deflation AOP for direct and indirect spend, including national supply contracts for direct and indirect materials, subcontract cost reduction initiatives, subcontract formation, review and approval, subcontractor consolidation, and electronic commerce or e-procurement initiatives. The incumbent serves as a member of both the region management team and the EMEA Sourcing team providing local implementation of regional objectives and shall report directly to the EMEA Sourcing leader for the Building Services Division. You will be working within the Building Solutions business working on Supply Chain initiatives. The Building Solutions divisions is primarily engaged in implementing HVAC, Security, Heating, Lighting and Fire alarm control systems in large commercial buildings across various vertical market segments.

Who we're looking for
• Managerial skills with emphasis on Change Management/Leadership, problem-solving, team building, operations planning and written and verbal communication.
• Working knowledge of Strategic Supply Partnership philosophies and demonstrated success in the implementation of strategic supply initiatives.
• Strong financial acumen; ability to understand P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Must possess a well grounded capability in negotiations with both internal and external suppliers and customers as required to implement sourcing strategies locally.
• Strong track record of success in previous roles, with continuously expanding scopes of responsibility.
• Good commercial view.
• Process orientated.
• The ability to drive change.
• A solid end to end mind set
• College degree .
• Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification; Black Belt preferred.

• CIPS useful.
