Due to a relocation of the Legal department to Spalding, Bakkavor are looking for a self motivated commercial Paralegal or Legal Executive (part or fully qualified) to join their busy legal team.
Reporting to and working closely with the Group Legal Counsel, you will be required to provide a broad range of legal services, offering advice relating to the following areas:
• Commercial Contracts: Drafting and negotiation.
• Company Secretarial: Managing the Groups statutory filling system, drafting board minutes.
• Construction Law: Drafting and negotiating consultant appointment, collateral warrantees and building contracts.
• Intellectual Property: Supervising the Groups trademarks and other Intellectual Property rights.
Who we're looking for
To be considered for this role it is essential that you can demonstrate:
• A minimum of 12 months working knowledge of managing your own caseload, predominantly consisting of general commercial contracts.
• Familiarity within a company secretarial environment, this is advantageous as your role will have accountabilities in this area.
• The ability to service the Groups legal requirements as a priority .
• The ability to manage the expectations of the business, adopting a practical no-nonsense approach.
