As Logistics Planning & Process Manager you will be responsible for managing the current infrastructure and business process as well as implementing strategies to improve efficiencies within materials management. You will lead and develop the existing logistics planning team.
Specifics for the role will include:
• Receiving operations
• Transaction and inventory accuracy
• Transportation
• Packaging - Including returnable's and disposable
• Warehousing and distribution in both manual and automated stores
• Material handling equipment
• Kitting
• Infrastructure management and development
• Re-pack operations
• Line side replenishment strategies
This role will offer the ideal candidate a unique opportunity to influence change and action process improvement. You will be a natural problem solver with a "can-do" attitude who enjoys providing solutions and making things happen.
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate for the Logistics Planning & Process Manager will have excellent skills within the logistics discipline, specifics include:
Experience gained from working within a world class manufacturing environment ideally automotive or similar.
Structured management experience including setting and managing KPI's
A working knowledge of lean manufacturing processes and Kaizan activities.
Demonstrable SCM skills obtained within a complex and fast moving, evolving, supply chain structure.
