Business Development Manager

GAP Group is currently establishing a national sales team made up of high calibre and dynamic Sales professionals. As a Western Union super agent in the UK GAP's goal is to grow the network of Western Union by adding new sub-agent locations to service the ethnic communities' need for money transfer. Reporting to the Head of Sales , these newly created field based roles will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with new businesses across all markets.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- New business development (to include agent recruitment, training and on-going support);
- Implementing and developing network and business growth strategy within the designated territory;
- Build long term relationships with agents to ensure agent loyalty, transaction and revenue growth;
- Interaction with management and other BDMs to foster cross regional experience;
- Managing a small team of BDEs;
- Participate in field activities (to include attending localised marketing campaigns) to ensure agent network growth and development of optimal agent performance;

Who we're looking for
- A proven and current track record of experience in business development, management, sales and marketing, relationship building and planning is essential within a financial services company. The ability to generate and build on ideas and a proven understanding of agency & network development will be key.
- ExtensiveB2Bdevelopment experience and demonstrable superior customer service skills with the ability to coach others to adopt these principles.
- Proven ability to network and develop strong working relationships is essential.
- Presentation & negotiation skills and the ability to deliver these skills at the highest level are essential.
- Experience in the money transfer industry would be an advantage but not a requirement.

- Fluent in English. Any other language will be an asset.
