To work with managers on investigation (and turnaround) assignments. Prepare, review and comment on detailed financial models. Analyse and interpret financial information and prepare reports. Potential attendance at marketing functions. Ability to carry out and supervise statutory work in respect of Administrations and Liquidations.
• Able to understand and interpret accounts and other financial information
• Able to quickly assimilate data
• Be able to understand, review and critique cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheet forecasts
• Be able to prepare profit and loss and cash flow forecasts
• To be able to draft long form and bullet point reports
• To be able to interview company staff and gain their confidence
• To have some understanding of accounting standards
• Demonstrate understanding of security reviews
• Demonstrate some ability to implement trading strategy in turnaround situations once strategy is agreed, including monitoring trading performance
• Preferred but optional - basic understanding of corporate finance and valuation approaches and banking terms
• Attend and possibly present at meetings with work providers/banks
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have:
• 300 UCAS points at A level (2:1 Honours degree preferred)
• ACA or ACCA Qualified
• Experience of investigations or related field (e.g in auditing or recovery)
• Previous experience within a Professional Practice
