The focus is on mid-cap Corporates typically within the £10m-100m turnover level spanning a range of vanilla lending products. Whilst the focus is generalist, there will be some concentration on property, hotels and leisure plus trading businesses so prior experience working as a Corporate Banking Relationship Manager within one of these sectors would be advantageous. Due to organic growth, our client is looking for 2 additional relationship managers to be based in their London City office. With the help of the RM head, you will build and manage a portfolio of mid-cap clients with the aim of generating a strong revenue stream for the Bank going forward. You will work closely with the in house credit managers and develop strong relationships with specialist product areas. This is very much a team environment with a relatively flat structure.

Who we're looking for
The ideal candidates will have the following skill set:-
• Prior experience as a Corporate Banking Relationship Manager at a Bank focussing on mid-cap vanilla lending facilities
• A comprehensive understanding of balance sheets, profit and loss, cashflow statements and the various financial ratios needed to assess the serviceability of lending applications is essential
• A thorough understanding of lending facilities, loan documentation and banking products
• Excellent proven interpersonal and team player skills. You will need to interact with both clients and colleagues on a daily basis
• A recognised banking qualification (eg ACIB) would be preferable but not essential
