Due to business expansion and developments in the reporting and control environment, the Global Finance function within HSBC is undertaking a major change programme.
These are high profile, business critical positions that will offer exposure across the entire HSBC business.
You will be required to:
• Document requirements in accordance with agreed standards and methodology, liaising effectively with current and future finance users to ensure agreement on final requirement through to implementation.
• Liaise effectively with IT to ensure understanding of requirements and input to functional specifications.
• Assist in the development and testing of all requirements.
• Possess a sound knowledge of the financials and systems architecture.
• Translate requirement into a standard set of process maps or liaise effectively with other team members to ensure completion.
• Endure deliveries are completed within agreed timeframes.
• Flexibility to travel and work overseas for a defined period typically 2-3 weeks.
Who we're looking for
We're interested in versatile, creative and technically outstanding individuals who are able to respond to the challenges presented by these developments in a dynamic and changing financial services business.
Successful candidates will ideally be either business analysts, process analysts or project managers.
You will have a proven track record of developing and co-ordinating finance processes and systems, implementing projects and process development. Ideally you will have been in a pivotal role on a change programme in the past.
You will be educated to degree level with experience gained from either financial services, the profession, blue chip organisations or leading consultancies.
You will possess strong communication skills and influencing skills. You will be able to engage effectively with key stakeholders and critical interfaces at multiple levels and you will be a strong team player, resilient and self motivated with the ability to demonstrate effective leadership.
