Treasury Accountant/Analyst

Purpose:

This is a high profile role that will give the job holder exposure to associates at all levels of the business right up to corporate directors. The role is to act as a centre of expertise in the UK and support the global business in maximising shareholder value. This role supports all of the UK business units in a wide range of areas, from statutory accounting, to treasury to tax allowing the jobholder to gain a good business breadth.
As this jobholder works closely with our client'external advisors, detailed tax and US Gaap knowledge is not required. Full training will be provided as required for the role.

• Management of the UK holding company ledgers, including review of the postings made, period end reporting and submissions, and the annual planning cycle.

• Manage the co-ordination between the UK units and external advisors with respect to UK and US Corporation Tax. This includes working with units to support the UK Transfer Pricing policy, advising units of best practice and working to continually improve the quality of the forecasts and understanding of the submissions from UK units.

• Co-ordination with the UK units to ensure timely completion of the UK statutory accounts in line with UK Gaap.

• Responsibility for overseeing any financing arrangements within the UK within regular and specific deadlines.

• Liaising with external bankers and European Treasury Centre to ensure continual provision of effective banking for the UK units.

Who we're looking for
You will ideally be a Tax specialist with good grounding in UK Corporate tax, probably looking to take their career to the next stage.

You may also be looking for a role closer to home.
