This position is a new role that is highly critical to the successful implementation of the ongoing strategy for our client's Private Equity operation. You must be able to quickly integrate within multiple teams across different jurisdictions, investigate accounts, and migrate data from one system into another. This is an exciting role where you will be exposed to all types of private equity funds, such as fund of funds, buyout, mezzanine and hybrid funds and gain expose to best in breed private equity accounting software.

Who we're looking for
The candidate is likely to be a qualified accountant with the appetite for the challenge that this project brings. The candidate will need strong interpersonal skills to fit in to the various teams and to be able to establish relationships with key clients and other accountants. The candidate must also be able to work with minimum supervision, effectively manage workloads and meet deadlines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• The ability to interrogate financial and management accounts for funds and related management companies
• Liaising with fund accountants to understand issues arising from data migration
• Liaising with fund accountants and bookkeepers to locate, migrate and normalise data necessary for the success of this project
• Multi-tasking between several teams/clients and be willing to pitch in where necessary to help other team members across the project
• Implementation of new, best in breed private equity accounting system across the group• Assist with the re-engineering of accounting business processes to maximise efficiency
• Gaining an understanding of technical aspects including EVCA guidelines, the impact of IAS on private equity and internal rate of return IRR calculations
