My client, a major UK bank is looking for Relationship Support Managers to develop and maintain relationships with a portfolio of customers.
Role Purpose:
To support the Senior and Account Managers and manage a portfolio of key accounts maintaining operational relationships with a number of key names within the portfolio. Prepare tender responses and attendance at key customer meetings when required. Share knowledge/experience and encourage other colleagues, in particular the Account Assistants.
Key Role Deliverables:
• Work as part of the team to ensure annual plan objectives are met
• Develop new business opportunities
• Prepare briefs, Cost models etc
• Ensure all reporting and internal MI completed within timescales
• Demonstrate thorough understanding of key customers within portfolio
• Keep up to date with industry issues affecting portfolio
Who we're looking for
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workloads
• Some Line management experience preferred
• An understanding of financial performance and the ability to manipulate and analyse figures
• Experience of relationship management/business development of large national names
• Having some experience/exposure to key personnel within major organisations
• Preferably an understanding of the Cards industry with special knowledge of the acquiring arena. To be aware of and understand the key factors surrounding the industry i.e. Risk, Interchange, Scheme rules
• An appreciation of the technical side of acquiring e.g. systems, software, and communication
