My Client is looking for a Project Manager - Sub Contractor within the Construction industry to be based in Slough. As a Project Manager within a Sub Contractor you will be able to run a team and have total control of a number of sites. You will have good knowledge of the Refurbishment and Fit out Market and have worked on projects up to £5million across a variety of sectors. The successful Project Manager will report to the Operations Director and you will be accountable for Site Managers, Working Foreman, Site Engineers and General Labour.
Who we're looking for
The successful Project Manager will be confident in the following:
• Agree site set up with site manager, surveyor and director.
• Produce construction programme.
• Identify clients free issue materials.
• Produce design programme in conjunction with the design department.
• Complete Health & Safety requisition for site safety services.
• Place sub-contract orders, assist the surveyor.
• Order plant and materials.
• Report all significant problems on the project.
• Set up site file.
• Agree site manager's duties.
• Attend regular internal contract review meetings.
• Review subcontract performance at end of project.
