You will be an integral part of the UK remote sales team
This role reports to the Senior UK Sales Director and will be tasked with developing new business and maximising business opportunities via referrals from the US business
You will develop and maintain long term, productive relationships with merchant customers and you will also contribute to creating strategies designed to target new sectors and develop new business opportunities where required.
As a part of the sales team as the business launches in the UK you will be at the forefront of the company's development and be instrumental in its success.
This individual contributor will be a key partner in the success of the Chase Paymentech European Operation and will:
• Develop an annual sales business plan within designated geography in the UK, including marketing strategy to translate potential leads into net revenue for Chase Paymentech in the UK.
• Act as a stakeholder in the Product Strategy by identifying and developing market needs not addressed by the existing product and service portfolio
• Development of Partnership Programmes in the UK to specified agreed targets
• Cultivate revenue through Agency selling to promote business for Chase Paymentech as a bank and/or payment service provider
• Maximize and close cross selling & direct selling opportunities within US & UK markets
• Management of business relationships including internal support and reporting of progress in the selected UK marketplace
• Development of process to ensure effective delivery and support to the customer and managing relationships with them to represent Chase Paymentech to its highest professional standard
Who we're looking for
You will be of degree calibre with current experience of developing business, representing a brand and sealing into the retail or travel and entertainment sector. You will have a demonstrable track record of winning new business in a competitive environment, you will also have a proven ability to win business through partnership, agency and direct relationships.
Ideally you will have a payments or merchant acquiring background or will have sold financial solutions.
A background of working autonomously and in a home office environment is a prerequisite.
