The M&E division of this international construction consultancy is developing rapidly on the back of the client base of the more developed Cost Management and Project Management divisions.
The purpose of the M&E Senior Project Surveyor role is to provide building services cost management on a range of projects. The role will suit someone who can work on their own initiative, provides excellent customer service and as a result will develop new business opportunities.
Duties will include:
• Carry out pre and post contract cost management on a variety of projects from feasibility stage to final account completion.
• Assist the Associate and/or team leader on the project.
• Carry out and /or assist with cost planning, value engineering, option analysis, procurement advice, preparation of tender documentation, returned tender analysis and contractor selection.
• Carry out post contract duties such as valuations, cost report management, change management, and final account agreement.
• Assist in the training, mentoring and development of junior members of staff.
• Develop specialist technical and financial knowledge of a sector and develop contacts within prospective Clients and key colleagues in that sector.
Who we're looking for
The M&E Senior Project Surveyor will Ideally be RICS / CIBSE qualified or equivalent.
General experience preferably within a PQS practice since qualification.
Candidates with relevant experience of M&E cost management from a contracting background would also be considered.
