PURPOSE OF ROLE:
The planning, preparation and audit of statutory accounts for a wide variety of businesses, primarily corporate, but including charities, pension schemes and solicitors.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Planning and control of audits including setting budgets, meetings and supervision of staff.
• Identifying and advising clients on business issues and providing relevant and constructive advice.
• Leading and managing audit assignments adhering to risk management procedures.
• Contact with clients when on site.
Who we're looking for
You must be ACA or ACCA qualified and ideally you will be educated to A level and degree level. You will have proven technical skills and experience taking part in audits and carrying out accounts preparation. Alternatively, should you have extensiveexperience working in a practice environmentand are qualifiedby experience you should also apply.Experience of working in a large regional or mid-tier firm would be an advantage
