Are you looking for a position where you can have a significant impact in improving a company's performance?

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate excellent leadership skills to embed a continuous improvement culture within the business.

Responsibilities will include:
•To define CI strategy at Leighton Buzzard in line with Corporate guidelines and agree the implementation plan with the Senior Management Team. The strategy is to include; 5S, Value Stream Mapping, accelerated Improvement Workshops or similar team workshops, 6 Sigma, implementation of specific tools/events to improve site KPI's, training on CI for all employees.
• Leading activities to deliver targeted improvement across the business.
• Working with all site managers, instigate a culture of Continuous Improvement throughout the facility.
• Mentoring/facilitating/running events in all areas of the business to implement strategy.
• Supporting all areas of the business to remove waste from their everyday task.

Who we're looking for
•The successful candidate must have abroad knowledge of CI tools and processes and have a proven ability to define CI strategies.
•Proven experience in managing a team of Continuous Improvement Engineers is essential to this role.
•Leading by example will ensure that you and a team of two Continuous Improvement Engineers work to the highest standard.
•The successful candidate will have good presentation skills as they will be responsible for facilitating Continuous Improvement events.
•Degree qualified within a technical discipline, the successful candidate will also need to have strong interpersonal and motivational skills.
