Our client is looking for a restructuring and insolvency lawyer.

Who we're looking for
You should have non-contentious experience and your experience to date will, ideally, demonstrate a bias towards 'upstream' restructuring work (workouts, bondholder issues and corporate advisory work). Ideally, you will have restructuring experience, however candidates who have strong banking experience and wish to make a move to business restructuring will be considered. Please note that litigation experience is not required for this role. Candidates who have qualified in former commonwealth jurisdictions or who have other relevant overseas experience are welcome to apply.

You must be able to understand the strategy and ultimate commercial objectives of the transactions and the clients for whom they work. You will be both commercial and relationship-driven, delivering practical solutions to challenging, time critical, business problems. Insolvency and business restructuring experience is preferred but candidates with transactional banking experience who wish to commit themselves to building a knowledge of and profile in "workouts" will be considered.

The firm has significant roles in most high value, complex, corporate restructuring, debt rescheduling, workouts and insolvencies. Our client also has particular expertise in cross-border assignments.
