Canary Wharf

Permanent

Updated June 15, 2008

Due to the continued success and growth of the Cantor Fitzgerald group, a new vacancy requiring a qualified lawyer has arisen. The role requires you to work closely with Cantor's wholesale and retail financial derivatives business (principally Contracts for Difference (CFDs) and spread betting). You will report to the Director of Legal for this business and work directly with senior executive management.

The role provides a diverse and complex mix of corporate, commercial and regulatory working relating to all aspects of the derivatives business.

To succeed in this role you will be a focussed and diligent lawyer with a desire to be closely involved with the business.

This is a superb opportunity for an experienced lawyer to advance their career in an expanding and truly entrepreneurial business.

Who we're looking for
Ideally, you will have recent corporate, commercial or financial services experience (much of which will have been gained in a leading UK or international law firm) and be able to provide legal and commercial/strategic advice to senior management. Equally important is a "can do" attitude and a confident and enthusiastic approach. Experience of OTC derivatives would be an advantage but is not essential.
