You would join our prestigious Debt & Structured Finance Team located in our new office at 5 Aldermanbury Square. This team specialises in front office banking roles in the following areas:
• Corporate Banking, Leveraged Finance, Project Finance, Syndications, Structured Finance, Structured Trade Finance, Structured Property Finance as well as Credit Analysis related to all these areas.
• Our clients base covers most of the financial institutions in the market from top tier Investment Banks to Mid-Market UK Banks to niche Boutiques.
• You would manage your own portfolio of clients in both contingency and retained/search assignments at a variety of levels, from 2 year+ experienced Managers through Associate Director, Director, to Head of Teams, in due course.
• The role involves both working on pipeline business and developing business/relationships with clients, as well as sourcing and meeting candidates through a variety of methods, including Michael Page's award-winning website and headhunting.
• You will manage the entire process through to offer stage and final placement.
The present team is made up of mainly ex-bankers from Corporate Banking, Credit, Leveraged Finance and Project & Export Finance backgrounds.
Who we're looking for
We are looking for candidates who combine a background in one of the above disciplines from a UK based financial institution with the necessary drive, enthusiasm and tenacity to make a success of the move to the Recruitment Sector; you will build on your industry knowledge, allied with the best, structured, training in the market place. You will have the following qualities:
• Experience in either: Corporate Banking, Leveraged Finance, Project Finance, Syndications, Structured Finance, Structured Trade Finance, Structured Property Finance.
• Well developed sales skills and a hunger for success.
• Strong relationship management and relationship building skills.
• A tenacious nature.
• Strong interpersonal skills, that will leave a credible impression on client and candidates alike.
