Primarily based in London, a Procurement Consultant will advise global blue chip organizations on the commercial management of information and telecommunication technology services and infrastructure, with the aim of helping them to reduce their cost as well as increase their revenues and productivity.

Activities include implementation of commercial strategies, building and running tenders, benchmarking, managing suppliers, analyzing competitive issues and building business cases for change.

Who we're looking for
The successful Procurement Consultant will have a number of the following:
• 1st or 2.1 class Degree (MBA and MCIPS desirable)
• Experience in the technology service industry, and of commercial activities in the technology industry.
• Experience of preparing tender documentation, evaluation criteria and contractual terms and conditions.
• Experience of telecoms market and knowledge of Mobile and Data services
•Experience in managing small teams or projects
• Quantitative and qualitative research and analysis
• Financial knowledge and modelling and exceptional business acumen and negotiation skills
• Ability to apply knowledge or experience of the telecom market to an engagement
• Deep knowledge of technology industry, its trends and drivers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Ability to identify business opportunities and build relationships with clients

Our client is a specialist management consultancy providing expert advice on the purchasing, procurement and commercial management of telecommunications.

What's on offer
£35,000 to £55,000 + excellent package
