Head Of Company Secretarial

The purpose of the role is to take responsibility for the area providing corporate secretarial and administrative services to a complex portfolio of fund and management companies within HSBC Securities Services Limited. The role also forms part of the senior management team of HSBC Securities Services (Guernsey) Limited.

Key accountabilities include:
• Leading, managing and developing a team of seven people that service
over 50 companies.
• Promoting HSBC Securities Services in the wider business community within area of expertise.
• Liaising with Directors and Non-Exec Directors.
• Interpreting and communicating regulatory changes to the client
base and directors.
• Contributing to the strategic planning of HSBC Securities Services (Guernsey) Limited.
The position will be based in the organisation's Guernsey office.

Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have:
• ICSA qualification.
• A proven track record in team development and leadership.
• A strong company secretarial background.
• The ability to take a strategic focus.
• A proven track recording the alternative funds arena is desirable.

HSBC Securities Services (Guernsey) Limited are one of the longest established Fund Administration operations in Guernsey. They have a tradition of service excellence and a focus on alternative fund administration. In particular they specialise in providing services to "alternative" fund managers who manage hedge funds, fund of funds and emerging market funds. This is a rapidly expanding industry offering opportunities to people wishing to build careers in a variety of disciplines within the fund administration industry.

What's on offer
Remuneration will be commensurable with the seniority of this role and a housing license will be provided.
