To provide accurate and informative quotes for Main Contractor Projects through to supply.
Who we're looking for
Responsibilities will include:
1. To compile quotes for internal and external clients, and present the information in a satisfactory format, to strict deadlines.
2. To ensure accuracy of quotes in order to realise the agreed profit margins.
3. To liaise with and benchmark costs of sub-contractors in order to present the best value for money options when producing quotes.
4. To constantly review material & labour costs and production hours to ensure the accuracy of production costs.
5. To analyse production techniques and cost effectiveness.
6. To re-cost items as necessary, ensuring the client is provided with an explanation for any changes including variation orders.
7. To build and maintain a client database of production costs, for the purpose of streamlining the provision of quotes.
8. To source special materials/services as required.
9. To liaise with Set Out and Design over production drawings.
10. To provide estimating reports for use by management.
11. To use excel spreadsheets to ensure accurate production costing.
12. To prepare Project Files to include copies of the quote, client order, sub-contractor and material purchase orders along with any other pertinent information to be passed to the Senior Project Manager for implementation.
13. To invoice clients as required.
14. Such other duties as the management may at times reasonably require.
