Business Analyst/Project Manager

As a global organisation, our client needs commercial business and accounting systems that are effective and efficient. Part of the IT strategy is to implement a front to back office accounting system and stock management software which involves enhancing existing systems in the UK and providing system implementation overseas. This requires a talented Business Analyst/Project Manager to ease the process, engage business units and ensure effective uptake by training end users.

Responsibilities
• Coordination of system enhancements from assessment and specification of new business requirements to implementation
• Project management of the business system implementation in the overseas operations
• Provision of follow up support and training post implementation
• Liaison with in house IT department, external programmers, commercial & accounting managers and end users
• Problem solving and establishing solutions

Who we're looking for
You are a graduate with an enthusiastic, pro-active approach to managing projects and a proven track record in delivering value back to the business through successful systems implementation using your business analysis/project management skills. You communicate at all levels within the business and have the technical understanding needed to deliver technology solutions to business problems.

Required skills:
• Demonstrable diplomatic skills with the ability to deliver results and influence decision-makers
• Professional, methodical, hands-on and structured approach
• Experience of managing major systems projects to successful delivery
• Ability to understand the interaction between business needs and current technology including system design concepts
• Experience of working with international teams and the associated cultural working differences
• Good understanding of accountancy and trading
• Willingness to travel (2-3 times per year)
