• To take financial responsibility for the financial aspects of managing and developing the commissioning function.
• To provide management and leadership to the Organisation for all aspects of commissioning accounting services.
• To lead on commissioning accounting services in the formulation of plans and strategies for the Organisation.
• To recruit, train, manage and lead a team of staff. This will involve monitoring staff performance and taking appropriate action where necessary, managing professional and personal development through regular appraisals and identifying their training and development needs
Who we're looking for
• Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies Qualified Accountant or equivalent gained through proven experience
• Postgraduate management qualification or professional business qualification (or equivalent gained through proven experience )
• Evidenced continuous professional development record
• Proven track record of sound financial management
• Significant experience and knowledge of performance, finance and commissioning in the NHS or equivalent public sector organisation
• A range of senior management experience
• Experience of working across organisational and professional boundaries in a variety of complex organisations
