Senior VP Structured Aviation Financing

Our client is a market leader in aviation financing, they are looking for an individual to join their already successful Origination team. A strong focus on growing the portfolio whilst cultivating existing relationships. Particular emphasis will be on further development of hedge funds, private equity and related sources of capital.

The Role:
• Sourcing, identifying, developing and executing sales of aircraft and engines from the portfolio.
• Structuring deals and providing input into portfolio management, including the development of aircraft type specific disposition strategies and counterparty exposure management.
• Evaluating and developing new products and channels of distribution with a particular emphasis on further development of hedge funds, derivative products and other sources of capital and risk mitigation.
• Enhancing the business' underwriting capabilities in Aviation, and Airport sectors by providing origination teams with structuring and syndication expertise.
• Development of transaction proposals based on knowledge of airline and financing market sources.
• London or Asia based ( Singapore or Hong Kong )

Who we're looking for
The Ideal Candidate:

• The successful candidate will be responsible for originating, structuring and distribution of debt products to support business growth within the aviation portfolio.
• In-depth knowledge and proven track record of aviation structured debt and syndication.
• Extensive financial markets contacts with a focus on banks, hedge funds capital market players.
• Good communication skills, including effective writing, presentation preparation and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, both independently and as part of a team with excellent problem solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA beneficial
