Team Manager

As a Team Manager you will be responsible for effectively leading & managing operations teams to ensure that productivity standards are achieved through out the manufacturing facility. You will achieve the optimum use of operations resources through the leadership and development of team members, supporting continuous improvement activities and delivering a quality service.
Key responsibilities include:
• Managing team members on a daily basis, creating and maintaining a positive, safe and productive working environment, ensuring that quality standards are maintained.
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement activities.
• Manage the daily labour plan to ensure targets are met and where possible exceeded.
• Ownership of team development.

Who we're looking for
With a proven track record of success within a highly pressured manufacturing environment, your ability to prioritise, lead and motivate will be key. Self-motivated and confident, you must have a flexible and persistent approach to problem solving and thrive on the challenge of achieving results within a fast paced environment. You must have:
• Shift Operations or Team Management experience within a fast moving and changing work environment such as FMCG or high volume manufacturing.
• Ability to implement and interpret business critical KPIs
• Ability to prevent problems, generate solutions when they occur and make justified decisions that influence key stakeholders
• Experience in the successful use and practice of continuous improvement tools and methods (Lean, Kaizen, 5S)
