You will be required to assist the London based partner and corporate finance colleagues on a
broad range of corporate insurance work. The role requires you to advise on insurance related corporate finance transactions, establishing insurance regulated entities, commercial insurance contracts including outsourcing agreements and distribution agreements, policy wordings and regulatory matters. It provides an opportunity to have a mix of regulatory, commercial and corporate work and offers the chance to work with a range of other departments within the firm.
Who we're looking for
• Excellent academic achievement with a minimum 2:1 degree.
• Experience of Corporate Insurance law gained within a comparable environment and at an appropriate level.
• Clear understanding of the operation and structure of a Top 15 law firm.
• Ability to achieve continuous improvement and development.
• A clear understanding of high standards of client care for existing and potential clients.
• Have a strong commercial awareness.
• Display a knowledge of key areas of the law by providing clear, precise, practical advice.
