Key responsibilities will include:
• Know How
- Drafting, updating and collating of precedents
- Drafting other know-how documentation, including practice notes and checklists
- Ensuring that Group's know-how is properly maintained and reviewed
• Fee earning
- Research on behalf of the Group as appropriate
- Opinion drafting on behalf of fee earners within the Group
• In-house Counsel
- To include technical interpretation of the impact of new legislation
• Internal training function
- Developing legal training material
- Delivering legal training
- Administering training
• Presentation of Share Schemes services externally
- Writing, editing and providing content for articles and conferences - maintaining the firm's profile in relevant legal and
trade journals.
- Aiding and administering fee earner contributions to journals.
- Developing material for client training
- Delivering client training

Who we're looking for
The work of the group is varied and accordingly any successful applicant (bearing in mind their relative expertise)
will need the following skills:
• Strong share schemes knowledge and clear organisational skills with respect to the establishment and
maintenance of systems
• The ability to lead the general upkeep of the group (whether that be training, precedents, or know-how generally)
• A clear understanding of high standards of client care (both internal and external) for existing and potential clients
• The ability to identify and support business development opportunities, supporting the establishment of strong
client relationships at all levels
• Good standard of computer literacy essential

The successful candidate will have:
• Excellent academic achievement
• Experience of share schemes law gained within a comparable environment and at an appropriate level
• Clear understanding of the operation and structure of a Top 15 law firm
