Our client's highly regarded non-marine insurance and reinsurance practice has a vacancy for a first class and ambitious insurance/reinsurance lawyer. A wide variety of contentious and coverage work for a broad range of London market and international clients is on offer:

• reinsurance litigation - high value, complex contested treaty and facultative reinsurance disputes involving a demanding caseload of new and existing matters;
• non-marine insurance - work routinely involves consideration of a very broad range of insurance coverages, in particular, property, machinery & breakdown, business interruption, E&O, personal accident, D&O, financial institutions, jewellers' block & contingency;
• cover holder disputes - frequent involvement with disputed binding authorities (mainly international) and related E&O recoveries;
• non-contentious - advising clients on insurance wordings and risk management;
• international - over 75% of the work has an international element routinely exposing case handlers to jurisdictional and conflicts of law issues;
• client care - lawyers are actively encouraged to meet clients and assist in business development.

Who we're looking for
The successful NQ candidates will have broad and high quality litigation experience gained at a recognised practice. Reinsurance experience is an advantage but we are also seeking confident general commercial litigators who crave responsibility and can make a difference. We will also consider US qualified lawyers.
