Our client is seeking a Solicitor to work within the Family Team. This practice specialises in Children law in both the public and private sectors, adoption cases, including international applications, and applications for removal from the jurisdiction. The Partner is regularly instructed by the court to act for children in both public and private law.
The post holder will be expected to enhance and develop the existing private law work to create a significant practice with a high profile. In particular, to work with the current Children Partner as part of an established and senior team with a high profile, to develop the private children work practice.
Who we're looking for
A solicitor .
Ideally a member of the Children Panel
Excellent advocacy skills
The ability to develop the business and therefore excellent Business development and networking skills.
It is not essential the post holder would bring a client following although this would be desirable.
Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills when dealing with clients are essential.
Good IT skills.
Attention to detail, accuracy and good organisational skills.
The post holder to hold a clean driving licence.
