Sales Manager

This key position will have a number of responsibilities:
• Define the market and opportunities that exist within the Commercial Airline and Military fields outside of the significant organisations that APPH already work closely with.
• Formulate a new sales strategy which will include a full review of the current MRO capability and product range on offer through APPH.
• Develop long-term relationships with current partners whilst looking to continually up sell new products and services that could compliment their requirements.
• Review the current minimum order pricing policy and ensure that all customers are aware of the complete range of APPH Basingstoke's capabilities.

Who we're looking for
It is likely that you will come from an engineering background or have a relevant qualification although you may also have experience of working in the Aerospace industry. An understanding of the Civil/Commercial Aviation environment will be crucial although you may have some experience of selling into the MOD as well. Of huge advantage would be direct knowledge of the product portfolio (landing gear, wheels & brakes etc) plus also an understanding of the MRO market place. You would need to be adept at more of a 'service' rather than 'product' related sell and have the ability to travel throughout the UK and further afield as your workload requires. You will be personable, presentable, outgoing and with the ability to work closely with people across all levels of an organisation.

Basic to £38,000 + car + bonus + pension
