As part of the continued development of the Construct Division, the senior management team is seeking a Commercial Manager Building Services. Our customer focussed teams work throughout the UK, supporting our enviable list of 'blue chip' customers and contributing to the delivery of their business aspirations. We are looking for skilled and committed individuals to join these teams. Personal drive and integrity, with the ability to achieve results whilst having fun is a basic requirement.

Who we're looking for
# Assist in the preparation and/or validation of M&E Services cost plans
# Attend Tender Strategy Meetings to advise on procurement method and list of tenderers, to achieve best value tender returns
# Review the Employers Requirements and identify areas of risk and opportunity, recommend proposals
# Review M&E contractor tender returns and provide comment in respect of compliance with the Employers Requirements, completeness and commercial reasonableness
# Review, in conjunction with others, the M&E design, specification, recommended suppliers and proposed methods of working for value engineering options. Assist in assessing the potential cost saving associated with all options defined
# Assist in developing the M&E Services section of the Contractor's Proposals
# Provide support in dealing with services issues of a contractual and/or commercial nature
# Accumulate intelligence on supplier workload to assist in supplier capacity planning
# Review M&E Contractor tender returns and provide comment in respect of compliance with the Employers Requirements, completeness and commercial reasonableness. Recommend contractor to be appointed
# Interview, in conjunction with others, short listed M&E contractors
# Comment on the M&E Contractor's monthly interim valuation submissions and final account submission in respect of claimed work vs actual work completed, validity and commercial reasonableness of all valuations and claims.
