Owning one of the groups most prominent categories, you will champion the development, profile and profitability of this range across a number of routes to market. You will be expected to devise, implement and manage aggressive business plans and spot further business opportunitiesas well asdriving the category into new seasons ahead of your competitors.
You must develop and maintain excellent working relationships with your suppliers and internal contacts to ensure operational excellence.This is a fast moving environment where seconds really do count. It is not a role for the faint hearted, you must be resilient to constant operational pressures,but success will bring strong personal development and significant further career opportunities.
Who we're looking for
As a successful and passionate Merchandiser / Planning Manager, ideallywithin a quality, high volume Non Food retailer, you will have built a reputation for delivering creative and successful business plansas well asproviding class leading customer focused activity.Preferably of graduate calibre and having excellent numeric and analytical skills, you will thrive on working within a pressurised environment where everyone is working to deliver 'the best'. A strong team working ethos is essential as is the ability to work to a shared ideal and vision.
