This role is an exciting and rare role for a contentious lawyer to deal with debt recovery actions and disputes, and general contractual claims as and when they arise.
Who we're looking for
Our client now requires a further Scottish qualified Litigator, who has experience of dealing with court actions and related matters involved the recovery of debt and general contractual claims. You will have ownership of various matters from instruction to settlement, requiring initial advice, drafting and preparing key documentation for court, negotiation, sometimes to settlement of disputes. You will also deal with enforcement of judgments and will be required to instruct agents and outside counsel where appropriate.
Someone looking for the first move in house, or indeed a candidate currently with a company, undertaking a similar role will be considered favourably.
