The key responsibilities of the role are:
• Project managing individual transactions
• Negotiating alongside clients on transactions
• Developing and applying a thorough knowledge of the O&G industry
• Drafting and reviewing information memoranda, bid documentation, issues papers and reports prepared for clients
• Assisting on pitching for new work, including the preparation and presentation of documentation
• Participating pro-actively in business development activities
• Delegating work to, supervising and developing team members
• Reporting to clients and Partners and Directors on transaction progress
• Developing and maintaining relationships with corporate clients, private equity houses, banks and legal advisers
• Communicating with clients at Board level
• Identifying problem areas andimplementing solutions
• Performance management and coaching junior staff
Who we're looking for
Based in Aberdeen, this role will be at Senior or Manager level. The successful candidate will be experienced in Transaction Services or Corporate Finance, ideally with experience in the oil and gas sector, however this is not essential. This role offers the potential for significant development and promotion for strong performers.
