Customer Service Manager

As the Customer Service Manager your key overall objective will be to provide an effective liaison between stores, the DC and Marks and Spencer Head Office. In addition, you will work with other DCs on projects and to establish best practice. You must ensure that all store service requirements are met by developing and maintaining sound working relationships with all the key customer contacts whilst offering both direction and instruction to each store.
To be successful you will manage the site helpdesk and you will maintain day to day contact with each store across the region and also organise and undertake regular store visits. You will also be directly involved with new store planning where you will liaise with project Managers and new store staff.
To provide first class customer service you will identify and understand customer requirements and relay this information to the Operations team before agreeing order patterns and delivery days.

Who we're looking for
Ideally a graduate or of graduate calibre, to be successful at interview you will have a proven track record of experience of a customer service role within a similar environment. You will be able to communicate with different people at all levels, ultimately putting the customer's requirements at the very top of your agenda.
It is essential that you have a knowledge of the distribution or retail industry and any experience gained within these sectors will allow you a distinct advantage at interview stage. Moreover, you will have excellent sales and customer service experience coupled with first class communication skills.
You will be IT literate with competency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint and you must have a full clean driving licence.
