Reporting to the Chief Executive of this high growth European leisure business you will establish robust processes, controls and systems for the European finance function and play a key role in the integration of finance into the operational business. Overseeing the day to day finance function you will lead budgeting, forecasting, bids and contract negotiations. In addition, you will work closely with the Chief Executive and the Board to develop a growth strategy for the business.
Responsibilities include;
• The development of the company's accounting policies
• Advising the Board on tax and structural issues
• Establishing pricing policies
• Management of the day to day accounting function
• Developing financing plans for the company's next phase
• Representing the company to financial institutions and potential investors
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will be qualified with demonstrable experience as a Finance Director. It is likely that you will have had experience of working across a Europeanmulti-site environment. Of importance will be experience in strategy, growth, leadership, re-financing and investor relations. A second European language would be ideal but is not essential.
The position is based in Hertfordshire and there will be a requirement for travel across Europe. For the right candidate this role could be based in Paris.
