Group Accountant

As Group Accountant the successful candidate will be instrumental in improving group financial controls and reporting routines.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

• Group management accounts.
• Group results consolidation.
• Management of bank balances.
•Cash flow forecasting.
• Annual statutory accounts.
• IFRS compliance.
• Tax computations and liaison with tax advisors.
•VAT compliance.
• Transaction support and ad hoc projects.

Who we're looking for
My client is looking for a proactive individual who is technically competent (IFRS understanding advantageous but not essential).
You will have excellent communication and spreadsheet skills for the position of Group Accountant based in Cheshire.
You will be a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) who works to the highest standards and who uses their initiative in their daily working environment.
You will have the potential to actively develop the role and be a driving force in raising the quality of financial control and reporting within Finance.

What's on offer
£45,000 - 50,000 plus benefits depending on experience.
