Firm-wide Planning & Environmental team, there are 3 partners, 6 associates, an environmental consultant and 2 trainees. The work of the group is varied and includes: Strategic planning advice, Public enquiries including advocacy, CPO advice, Highways advice, Planning & environmental transaction support, Contaminated land liability advice, Environmental regulatory compliance advice.

Who we're looking for
• Sound planning experience gained within a mid-tier firm. Some environmental experience would be an advantage.
• The ability to manage files unsupervised, with particular emphasis on meeting deadlines, and to proactively support senior fee-earners on more complex cases, liaising and coordinating with fee earners from other relevant disciplines as required
• A clear understanding of high standards of client care for existing and potential clients
• The ability to identify/develop and support business development opportunities, establishing strong client relationships at all levels.
• Good sense of humour and the ability to work in a team based environment
