The Johnson & Johnson Human Resource Operating Model is experiencing significant change due to a Global Transformation process. A result of this is the creation of internal competence centres across HR at global and regional level, one being the Total Rewards Specialist Group for Europe, Middle-East and Africa (EMEA). As part of this group Johnson & Johnson are looking to recruit for two Total Rewards Lead roles assigned to either the Emerging Markets or Southern Europe client base.
Reporting into the EMEA Total Rewards Lead this role will be responsible for supporting Regional and Global design activities for Compensation & Benefits in 2008-2009 while preparing for the future operating model. This will include process mapping, policy harmonisation, the introduction of the new job grading system, and design on new pay structures.
Once the transformation is complete the role will also encompass strategic consultation, daily business support and management of the outsourcing partner and any other third parties in the area of Compensation & Benefits.
During the initial transition phase this role will require up to 50% travel. The role will offer the scope for international exposure and the opportunity for long term career progression throughout the organisations network of businesses.
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will be degree educated and will have previous exposure in Compensation & Benefits (including base salary, short & long term incentives, perquisites, pension and medical plans) in a highly complex, large, multinational organisation. The role requires a high level of professional credibility and the ability to build long standing relationships at all levels. You will be politically sensitive, results driven, and articulate. An ability to proactively challenge and implement ideas is vital as is the ability to drive the performance of the Reward Specialist, who you will have line responsibility for. You will have had recent European/International exposure leading a Compensation & Benefits strategy and daily operation. Application and knowledge of process excellence/Six Sigma tools and methodologies is an asset. A relevant second language is desirable.
