The Big 4 Accounts Practice, a world leader in providing business advisory services, is now looking to set up a Channel Islands team to work with the top-tier Financial Services clients that they currently work with on the audit side. There are two roles available in the team, at either Assistant Manager or Manager level. This is an excellent opportunity to gain Corporate Finance Advisory experience working with a global market leader in the sector, with the opportunity to build up the practice on the ground. This is a great role for experienced advisory professionals looking to increase their role within a firm and gain greater overall responsibility for progression and the shape of the practice. Equally, it would also suit audit professionals looking to move into corporate finance with an offshore, financial services focus.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
• Project managing individual transactions
• Manage/ assist in the execution of capital markets transactions and various projects including due diligence exercises, valuations, preparation of client pitches and proposals etc
• Developing sector and product knowledge
• Client relationship management and service delivery
• Draft various documentation, issue papers and reports prepared for external consumption
• Ensuring engagement acceptance procedures are completed
• Active involvement in other team business development activities
• Liaising with clients on operational issues that arise
• Taking responsibility and accountability for the work and performance of others
• Reviewing the accuracy of team members' assumptions and conclusions
• Completion of work files
• Producing fee notes and WIP summaries

Who we're looking for
• Candidates for this role MUST possess an internationally-recognised accounting qualification such as the ACA/ACCA/CPA and/or the CFA (candidates with a finance-related MBA will also be considered).
• You should ideally have a strong background in advisory to date; or be working in Big 4 external audit with a Financial Services focus.
• Prior supervisory experience is considered advantageous.
• Knowledge of IFRS is required, along with excellent interpersonal skills.
• You should be committed to building up a team and developing close working relationships with clients.
