• Support the costing analysis on an individual contract basis and their relevant financial performance
• Assist the Management Accountant with the preparation of the monthly accounts ensuring completion by working day 4
• Ownership of key month end tasks including:
o Reconciliation of sales and preparation of sales accrual journal
o GRNI accruals and prepayments
o Consolidation of monthly orderbook
o Month end stock and debtor reports
• Post month end reporting and management pack preparation
• Review with Project Manager's standard costs on a project basis to ensure accurate basis for costing
• Analysis of weekly labour and associated costs. Supporting the introduction of weekly labour review meetings
• Prepare and distribute weekly sales and orderbook summary reports with analysis
• Analysis of factory stock, including supporting the twice yearly stock checks and development of perpetual inventory counts
• Working with the PG ensure that the sales orderbook is up to date and correct
• Review and develop a process for invoice creation and controls around this to ensure timely payment of invoices
• Updated and development of Product Group KPI's in order that they support the organisations strategic objectives
• Ensure that all variation orders are supported by the correct documentation
• Any other ad hoc duties the Management Accountant may request from time to time
