A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our client, Vp plc, as HR Services Manager. The HR department is undergoing a period of change and as a result of this, an exciting new role has been created for a candidate to manage the HR Services for the group. Based from its head office site in Harrogate this will be a full and challenging role; as we are expecting a great deal from the successful candidate. The role will take responsibility for the following key areas as well as directing a team of 5 people;
- Payroll
- HR Systems and MI
- HR Administration
- Benefits
- Acquisitions
As part of the change programme Vp plc is reviewing its payroll system to ensure it is in line with organisation requirements. It is envisaged the new HR Services Manager will lead this project as well as taking responsibility for other company wide HR related projects as required. The role will report to the HR Director and work alongside the other business heads.
Who we're looking for
This is an ideal role for someone who is operating at HR Manager level in a comparable environment. You should have experience of managing people across all areas of HR support particularly;
- Payroll
- HR Project management
- HR IS
- Reward
- HR Policy and procedure

About our client
Vp plc has been in existence for 54 years and was established as a plant hire business to the construction industry.
