My client is seeking an individual that has the ability to develop excellent relationships with their Retail Bank colleagues. Your proven past success will show you to be extremely self motivated with a desire to deliver excellent sales results while being customer focused. Experience in a direct customer relationship role is key as well as a driving licence and the ability to work from home. It is preferable to live in your territory (Kent, East Sussex andSurrey) in order to maximise your ability and value. Financial Services sales experience is essential for this role.You will be responsible for identifying and opening new business opportunities in the retail market place, specifically in the Convenience and Leisure Travel sectors.

Who we're looking for
This role adds value in a variety of ways and can be summarised as:

-- Recruitment of new customers.

-- Front-line risk assessment of prospect businesses.

-- To develop and maintain strong relationships with Retail Banks to generate 'leads'.

-- To generate new business by 'prospecting'.

-- The training of Retail Business managers to identify opportunities.

-- To manage lead input to the most cost effective 'channel' within the territory.

-- By maintaining therelationship within the Group and thus strengthening the customer relationships within the Retail Bank - stronger customer relationships, lending opportunities, strenghtens customer loyalty.

The deliverables of the role is to achieve primary financial targets of New Business Income and Customers using my clients product. You will also be targeted on leads passed to the Group Network and reaching cross sales/up-sales targets. This will see you attending 10 to 15 customer appointments per week.

About our client
My client is a wholly owned subsidiary of one of the major banking groups in the world. It is due to this investment that they are looking for an Business Development Manager.
