Our Client is investing in a dedicated team to provide Programme Assurance in the Financial Services sector. Drawing on the success of delivering Programme Assurance in other sectors and their reputation for providing industry expertise and specialty services in Financial Services they are building a premium team to grow this offer and service.

We are looking to recruit individuals for them at Senior Manager and Director level. Financial Services is a broad, diverse and complex industry sector. Constant change in the sector is being driven by ever more demanding customers, increasing regulation and fierce competition. Many of the players in this sector undertake major and significant change programmes in response to these forces of change. These programmes often bring potentially high rewards and high risks. When the stakes are so high our clients often seek assurance that they have the answers to many varied and complex questions.

We are specifically looking to recruit individuals with a strong financial services background in investment management as follows (either in consulting/industry - a mix would be ideal)

•Proven experience of working in investment banking- either in line role and/or blue chip consultancy - focused on change planning and delivery either from IT and/or business perspective
• Particular focus on operating model definition and delivery of operating model transformation, IT platform development and integration, channel development inc self service/on-line and credit risk/lending
• Also of interest is solution design, architecture and integrated solutions from IT and operations perspective

The Financial Services sector is going through a significant period of change. This change is being driven by a number of key factors that include increasing intensity of competition and new UK and EU regulation. To respond to this the Programme Assurance practice is particularly interested in candidates with direct experience of the following types of programmes:

•Enterprise-wide change as a result of the introduction of changes to regulatory and compliance changes in Financial Services
•Consolidating Financial Service back-office operations into shared service centres
•Outsourcing and/or off-shoring business processes
•Enterprise -wide establishment of common programme methods and performance improvement techniques. For example, Six Sigma
