Property Litigator

• Handle a varied high quality caseload dealing with all aspects of property litigation including dilapidations claims, possession actions, contested and uncontested lease renewals, forfeiture actions and the service of notices. Much of the teams work consists of giving strategic advice on property issues before any dispute actually arises, sometimes prior to the purchase of a development.
• Ability to demonstrate a high level of financial management in respect of own caseload including billing and credit control.
• Support marketing and business development activity within the team.
• Maintain and develop technical knowledge through attendance at training sessions, reading appropriate publications and meeting Law Society CPR requirements.

Who we're looking for
• Considerable proven track record in Commercial Property Litigation.
• Excellent relationship and client handling skills. I.e. able to deal confidently and professionally with clients.
• High Level of business acumen and commercial awareness.
• An ability to comprehend complex legal and technical issues and to explain these issues clearly to clients so that the clients have a comprehensive understanding of the issue and can make an informed decision as to strategy.
• Confident advocate and prepared to assist with and present at seminars and lectures.
• Team oriented and collegiate with a willingness to share knowledge with and support other members of the team.

About our client
My clients Property Litigation Team is based in Manchester but covers both my clients Northern offices. The teams clients include property investors, asset management companies, developers, health trusts, government bodies, shopping centres and other institutions, both in the UK and overseas.
